About Me

Who am I? Well, I'm not the Doctor and I'm not Sherlock Holmes (as much as I'd like to be).
I'm an experimental guinea pig, not because I have fur and have been subject to animal testing, but because I am a first born child, the first intake to study Liberal Arts at the University of Exeter, and the first person who has ever tried to be me.

This page is called 'About Me', but surely the whole of life is trying to discover what ones-self is about? (I think ones-self is a word... it is now at any rate!)

However, I think I have a few things nailed down...
1) I am a girl - posts relating to gender confusion or sexual orientation probably won't pop up; if they do, I might have been hijacked or run away to become a nun.
2) I won't become a nun; I've watched the Sound of Music too many times
3) I like being happy. This mainly involves singing at every moment, opportune or not. Usually the same song on repeat... "Some nights I stay up, cashing in my bad luck..."

That'll do to be going on with...

So whatcha doin' on the web?
Surely the question should be what would I be doing if I was not on the web??!
In all seriousness, I found watching youtube and reading blogs made by people a few years older than me who had already gone through uni and were in there early twenties, really helpful when trying not to freak out about growing up. Conclusion - I decided that other people might feel the same and it might be fun to give the blogging malarky a shot myself.

If I sound like someone you might be interested in hanging out with, feel free to stick around... if not please make your way to one of the exits which are located at the top of your internet browser. We hope you have a relaxed and pleasant journey.
